- The competencies are also tied to you career development plan. If you wish to take on a role involving higher responsibility, you will be clear on which competencies to develop. Also, a system through which you can document your career aspirations has been built into the EPMS process. This will ensure that your manager is aware of your goals and can provide appropriate inputs needed by you.

- The EPMS is designed such that your performance and completion of baseline responsibilities has a direct linkage to the rewards you will get. The better you perform, the more you are rewarded.
